Membership type should auto-upgrade after Subscription purchase

Is anyone using martinboi's Subscriptions Management module having problems with a new member's paid membership level NOT showing after a successful online purchase.  I've tested upgrades from both Promotion and Standard memberships... in neither case did the membership level show as being upgraded.  This is true for both the profile area and the Subscription Management's Subscribed Members list.  Granted I did the upgrades while testing with PayPal Sandbox but I expect the module function the same as if "live" PayPal was being used... otherwise the module's test feature is of very limited use.  

Note: I sent a request for support-help from the module's developer (martinboi) but based on the few times I've tried to communicate with him... I may not get a response for a few days.

I just realized that while martinboi recently made a change to my site to get the PayPal Sandbox feature working he may have messed up the new membership processing functions... that would explain why it's not working any more.

I found another bug in your module... appeared after your recent 'fix'.  I PM'd the details to you.  I guess we should have tested the last fix more thoroughly.  I am so looking forward to getting everything working correctly. 

I am having this same problem (membership not upgraded upon successful payment completion), only I am running Dolphin 7.1 and it DOES work when it's in test mode, but for some reason it does NOT work when set to live mode!

kinda defeats the purpose of having a test mode, if it doesn't match up to live mode. Mind you, I've noticed that Paypal sandbox is definitely not an exact replica of the live Paypal site either and certainly doesn't work the same, particularly when it comes to IPN stuff.

Anyone have any ideas on this? Martinboi seems to not be answering emails, messages, nor support tickets.

When's the last time he answered/date last message was sent to him?

I also use this module, but do not know configure automatic update of membership level after the member purchase.

There is no documentation explaining.

How do you have configured? What I need to configure in my paypal account and in this module?
