Membership levels not saving in admin edits

I'm not able to change a membership level by editing a profile in admin.    I have defined a level called "professional" but when I change it from "promotion" it doesn't change - it just stays at promotion.  I don't even have an "promotion" level anymore, as I have disabled it in membership levels.  Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong, and how to fix?

UPDATE:  Never mind, I think it is just not updating the display - a minor bug.   If I completely leave the members section, and go back in, it will be displayed properly.  I'm pretty sure this worked properly in the betas.

When updating member status I wish the message displayed was bigger, if your not looking for the message it is easy to miss.  (just preference not a bug)

This isn't working for me.

So I went into Settings > Membership Levels and unchecked "Enable promotional membership".

A new member that showed up as promotional before I unchecked it, still shows up as being Promotional. I went to the profile and clicked on the Admin Controls. Then I clicked Set Membership and it doesn't give me a save button there. I click the drop down and choose standard. Then I check "Starts Immediately" and go to Save at the bottom of the profile, but it comes back and tells me that I need to confirm the member's password.

So still didn't work right.

Finally, I clicked Set Membership again in the member's profile, and choose a membership and then went to the password area and cleared it out so that I wouldn't have to confirm it, then I saved. That actually worked! After 2 refreshes, it showed up as the new Level.
