Membership Levels

Hi all.

A great job on a great piece of software. Thanks to all.

I installed 7 beta 2 without messages and I am trying to set up membership levels.

In Admin the Membership levels Non-member, Standard and Promotion all show up as greyed out.

Is this normal or is it just on my Windows Xp and Vista macines. I have tried it on 2 different PC's

The default if Promotion is set off is the Standard member. How do I change ths to non-member.

It now shows Standard member and expires never. Not a good way to make money.

I can add a new membership level in admin if I include an icon but the new level does not show up under membership settings outside of admin as a regular member.

Has anyone set up membership levels in 7 beta 2 ?

Can anyone point me in the right direction >

Thanks in advance for your help.

It did not work yet in V7 Beta 2. I posted about it here some time ago at July 23:

http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/forum/Dolphin-Betas-And-RCs-0.htm#topic/Beta-2-license-and-member-levels.htm

My license prob is gone by itself after x times try, but add a new membership level is still impossible.

Hi Mallorca,

Thanks for your reply. I did see your post previously but no one has replied to you.

Do you also get all three levels greyed out ? Why is this , I would like to delete some levels and add my own.

Hello any Pundits reading this. Is this going to be fixed for the next release ?

Everything works perfectly in 6.1.6 I would love to see it like that except to be able to set the default membership to my own added level

Also why has the free site question been deleted ?

Thanks in advance

What Browser are you using I will test on that and see if it works with whatever you are using

For administration function you can best use Firefox.
I use opera for some times and working almost only not for html blocks. Therefore you have to use also Firefox.

Mallorca seems to have different problems from myself.

I can add a new membership level if I add an icon. I added the membership on ie8 on vista premium sp2.

I can only see the newly added level with Firefox not in Ie8.

However in both browsers the membership levels Standard, Non-standard and Promotional are greyed out and I cannot delete them because I cannot select any of them.

Also how do I make a newly added membership level as the default

Thanks in advance

I use firefox, but I'm unable to create a new membership level.

I use the current version of Fire Fox as well, and have no issues creating new membership levels. have you maybe checked the security settings etc? when I syarted using Dolphin I had to customize Firefox.
