Members unable to join

Hello everybody.

I upgraded from 6. to 61 and now members can not join.

I'm able to login as a test user (created before th upgrad) and update the test user accounts and save but new members can not join.

email received -> database query failed.

In the notification email(its long) i noticed the following:

Mysql error:

Unknown column 'personaldetaildevider' in 'field list'

Found error in file /home/strawbe7/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolProfilesController.php

at line 111. Called db_res function

with erroneous argument #0

any idea how i can fix this problem?

This is one of difficulties those who do the upgrade will face.

Here is the solution.

Goto field manager -> Join form manager.

Delete the field (even if inactive) personaldetaildevider.

Hi,

I'm having the exact same problem, except with "city" and "city" DOES NOT have a "delete" button, PLUS I am unable to make changes & SAVE the file.... I click SAVE and NOTHING happens.

P.S. I did not UPGRADE, I did a NEW install of 6.1.6, I was just creating some new JOIN Fields, and the error began..... It will not allow me to ADD a NEW_ITEM either.... I get a pop-up saying to check to see if there is already a NEW_ITEM (but there isn't one!)

Blaine.

Thanks in Advance, Blaine

Go into your DB and locate Profile Fields, Click on Browse and then look for "New Item" in there, when you find it just delete it and it will clear the error for you.  Then go back and try again.

HI,

Looked in DB/profilefields ..... "NEW_ITEM" does not exist in data base.

..... gremlins, damn gremlins!!

What else could be the problem?

By the way, I deleted "City" in the DB and the JOIN page now functions properly, but I still cannot add a NEW_ITEM.

blaine.

Thanks in Advance, Blaine

Try going into your cPanel -> MySQL Databases and set it to the DB that is having this issue, then click the "Repair DB" button that is next to it.  This might fix it for you, but I'm shooting in the dark at the moment myself on this.
