Could someone tell me how to put a new members on the profiles so that I can add a payment for their joining.

There is aff, none members standard and now I want to include teacher but I want the teachers to pay for membership. I know how to do the payment part but when they do their profile (joining) I need to to click on the payment options.

Hi Carl,

I have ran into the same problem, however, I don't believe the Payment process works like you want it to...  I also want people to sign up under a particular member type, I have Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum...

But during the join process, everyone signs up as a standard member.  From there you can upgrade to the different member types...

I am having to custom write a script that will force someone to pay for the selected rank prior to signup, but I haven't completed it yet.  I think if you want people to signup under a certain rank, you will need to do the same thing.

I hope this helps.

also, the email template that gets sent out, when a person joins, you can modify that to let them know that they need to now after join, purchase a subscription for one of your membership levels.

what i done on one site is that, i created a membership.php button, and placed it right beside the homepage button, once they are logged in. this would allow them to view the different membership levels you are offering, and hopefully entice them to make a purchase. and what sammie said, just redirect them to membership.php once they have finished the join.
