Member menu bar

i was wondering if there was a way to pull items from the member menu bar and combine it with the comet chat bar,, or pull the chat from comet chat and put it on the dolphin member menu bar??

You need to reverse engineer the comet chat bar to see how to add items to it.  No doubt you will need to tie in some of the Dolphin functions so that you can access the Dolphin data.  The member menu bar is part of the builders, you can easily find the data you need for such things as the notifications. 

Instead of trying to add comet chat to the member bar, I would look at the comet chat scripts and see how to add items to it.

For me, I simply centre the comet chat bar over the member bar.  Then I will change the CSS of the comet chat so that it blends in with the member bar.

When I have time, I may take a look at the comet chat scripts.

Yes, you can add items; however, if you are thinking of such things as the notifications pop-up, it has to extract that data from the database.  The Dolphin Comet Chat plugin already ties into Dolphin but there may need to be additional tie-ins to be able to get such things as notifications added to the comet chat bar.  This is something that interests me as I could just replace the member bar completely with the comet bar if I can add the member bar items to the comet chat bar.

I am busy with things and to stop and take on this project would require incentives.
