Ok so here goes, i have been trying to change the events mod around to create this but have not had much luck, what im trying to do is have somewhere that members of my site can post that they are looking for a 'meeting' either on that current day or a day in the future (its a adult site).. i was looking to make it work a bit like the 'events' mod where the member posts a event and it shows up in that members profile as i need it so when s member goes into asnother members profile they can see that member is looking for a meet on xx date etc, and also like it is in events where the user can look in the 'meets' page and see who's looking for a meet and when,
Now you are probly thinking why dont i just use the events mod, the only problem is that it only needs to be basic where the user can post
1)when they are looking for a meet.
2)Where the meet will be as in city (not country/state).
3)The place it will be (my house, your house etc).
4)And who they are looking for the meet (women, men, couples etc) and a small area where they can write a basic description of the meet.
I don't need most the things on the events mod like, date end, tags, photo upload option, and i dont need a join option as the meets will be a place where people can just view the meets and add there own meet, if they want to join a meet that they have seen then they can just simply contact the member whos meet it is. and i dont need the rate option.
Any ideas on how i can go about this? or would it just be a case of messing around with the events mod and delete the options i don't need and change a few items around?
