Medical Directory needed...

I've looked at several methods of creating a medical directory with the ads module, it's OK but I need something better.

Anyone have some suggestions on a good module, or perhaps a module that could be modified for this?

I think there is a dictionary module in the market, perhaps it could be edited for your medical dictionary.
