Recently I have noticed when creating a new Mass Mailer message it is overwriting whatever one I have loaded to base it on.
I have 11 saved ones and usually load one of them in, change the subject and content and save it and it saves as a new message.
But now it is overwriting which ever one I load in and edit.
Tried deleting one (did have 12) but that hasn't effected it.
Any ideas ?

Hello Dave
I checked it on my demo site and the Mass Mailer is working the same way as you described. When some message is loaded to edit, updated and saved the script updates the loaded message. As I know it's a correct behaviour. It's strange that you had another before.

Yeah it's weird, as I have aways loaded one in edited it and it saved as a new one.
I have them name January Newsletter, February etc...
Maybe am doing something wrong.

Were you changing the subject line after loading it in? Perhaps you forgot to change the subject line and it overwrote the old since it was the same. I have not used the mass mailer so I am not use to how it works. Geeks, making the world a better place |
No am changing the subject line, each time.
It worked fine and I have created 12 newsletters, now it's stopped and always overwrites.
I tried deleting one, thinking the limit might be 12 but didn't have any effect.

So you load in a newsletter, say, Block Party. Change the title to Block Party II , make changes to the Body text, click save and it overwrites Block Party? Or does Block Party disappear and you only have Block Party II?

Block Party disappears and I have Block Party II
