Mass Mailer not sending emails to Mass

gents & lads,

There seem to be an issue with Mass mailer. I Created email, submitted it, then got this message sth like "8 email in queue." on the top of Mass mailer window.

then after a while I got this email     - Start email send - Total queued emails: 8 Ready for send: 8 Processed emails: 8

From this email, i thought it is working good, but the members didnt get any email from mass mailer, I doubled checked it after two days, including junk folder,, no email at all.

I sent the email once again, yet didn't get to members this 2nd time either.

And in Massmailer status no is "Queue status:There are no emails in queue"

Any Idea what to do now ?

When creating/sending mass emails:

1. Create the email to be sent and then click submit at the bottom (next to preview)

2. In the 'All Messages' area, click the drop down arrow and choose the subject name of the email you just created

3. Choose the options that you want (send to subscribers, sent to all members, etc.)

4. Click submit

If you emails are not sending after that, you need to check your cron job. Another way to check your cron job is to upload a video to your website. (not a YouTube video).

ok here is whats happening

Emails go in the queue, and then get processed, thats why i get an email in admin inbox saying Total queued emails: 9 Ready for send: 9 Processed emails: 9

 after this message the queue status is empty,

As you said, i tried to upload video, used regular and flash both methods, but it keeps showing uplaoding but never uplaods, it gets stuck there.

so according to you, sth is wrong with my cron jobs?

I dont have any error from cron job at this stage.. my cron job is cd /home/username/public_html/periodic; /usr/local/bin/php -q cron.php

What I dot next ?

hey, i fixed the vedio upload problem,, actually when i went to tools >> host tools, there i found alot of things that needed to be installed, anyway i installed all except in Cache engines i still have eAccelerator installed but not availailble, and MemCache, Xcache and APC all NO. Tried but my limited knowledge is keeping me ineffective 

Only Cache engine being used i guess is file then..

That was for the vedio upload problem 

Now, Mass-mailer still not working, is it effected by cache engines too or i need to take care of sth else too?

Can any of the mods help me with mass mailer please ?, 

problem solved, actually the member i was testing with was not subscribed to notifications..
