Map - set default location

I need to set the map location to only show the UK rather than default to the whole world...

Using 'set location' within maps module doesnt seem to do anything.

Any suggestions?

I cant as would need admin access to reproduce the issue.

Im trying to set the map to only show the UK as default rather than the whole world, this is for using in a 3rd part module - business listings, as well as in groups.

the only ref I can see in order to do it is possibly the 'set location' in the map module admin area, but this doesnt seem to make a difference. Maps still always start off showing the whole world.

I want USA to be default 

In the admin settings for map module, you have to move the map into position where you want default position to be, then click 'save current location'.

There is one option to do this on home page, then below do it again where it shows each module that is installed that uses maps.

That worked for me.
