Manually add a member / create a profile

I know this has been asked before but I cannot find a 'current' answer.  Other answers gave a old link to a 'add a member' module that no longer works (from 2014).

I have a Dolphin website that is paid membership.  Sometimes I need to add a member, so they don't have to pay.  How do I manually do this?

Thank You in advance.

There's also a free version but it takes a little time to set it up. I had no trouble and it works fine for me. If you don't want the hassle, go for Modzzz script.

Thank You Johnk42, that worked fine.  If anyone has an issue installing the free mod, with Dolphin 7.3.x, make sure to change the config.php file, line 21 to "7.3.x"   Otherwise, it will show as 'installation failied'

Also, if you add a profile and then cannot login with that manually added profile (because incorrect login), just click "forgot password".  You'll get a password via email that works.  The reason I say that is because I added a couple of profiles and the passwords I assigned, did not work.

Kindly note that this paid version has the advantages (apart from not requiring file changes) of assigning Member Role (Ordinary member or Administrator) and Membership Level upon Profile creation.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
