Hi all:
-
Is there a way to just have one video featured on the front page from our video gallery? I tried changing the number from the admin, but it allows you to scan through the rest and I don't want that.

Ideas?

Thx, ~~L

How do I feature ONE video on index page? Any solutions to implement? |
Still looking for an answer on this one..... |
Cant you just go to the video and grab the embed code and then create a box and embed the video? Happiness is a warm gun. |

I wanted it to be like the Featured Members....etc. I can embed a YouTube vid...But I wanted to make one of mine featured. Cant you just go to the video and grab the embed code and then create a box and embed the video? |
Kernel is right, when you view any of your videos there is an embed code in the box to the right of the video. Just like the codes for Youtube you can copy and paste that code into a new HTML box on your index page. That would be the easoest way of achieving what you are looking for. You could even go to phpmyadmin after the box is created and set the deisgnbox field to 2 to lose the box border around the video.

Ok I'll try that. Kernel is right, when you view any of your videos there is an embed code in the box to the right of the video. Ah...I got rid of that so that folks wouldn't use up my bandwith. I guess I'll have to bring it back to do this. - Thanks. - Kernel is right, when you view any of your videos there is an embed code in the box to the right of the video. maybe there is a way to only show the embed code to moderators/admins? That would be good for you... Happiness is a warm gun. |
