 Hi, Just curious what a good # is to have as a threshold for sending mail, like match/cupid, profile updates/newletters/bulk email etc... I have mine set at 75 every 10 mins... but just curious if it'd be save to increase that... I haven't run into any issues yet with mail getting blocked. Thanks |
I think 75 is fine, around 8 per minute. You could try making that 150 only if its really needed and you have lots of emails to send. Otherwise stressing the server for nothing good doesn't make sense. so much to do.... |
ok, I'll bump it to 150 for now and hope the receipts (mainly google/hotmail/yahoo) don't shit the bed, as I have to get a notice out a little quicker as I sold my domain and want members to know the changes. thanks |
