The past 3 - 4 days have been hell to myself and even my site which is usually a very busy active community thanks to Multiple DDOS Attacks which in-turn bombarded my servers with useless traffic and causing the entire site and server to crash, stop any commands being carried out by techs and of course not allowing anyone access to the site i.e making the site visually and physically Dead ;(
This issue has now been fixed and protection is in place however I thought it would it would be good to let you all know and that this issue have been tracked as coming from China !!
this is nuts........ This is also actually following months of chiness spam across my blogs, user comments and much more !!
I also realised that these chiness hackers/spammer have made multiple attempts & failed to enter my server with SSH !!!
As a result I have blocked CHINA full stop from my site /server and I'm hoping things will be better in future
