MAMP anyone???

MAMP anyone???  Any one have this working on  MBP using MAMP?  I have installed, re-installed and still get Failed to Open Page with absolutely nothing in the log files.  CRON jobs work.  If the DB is down it is surely to tell me immediately.

I know this is an old topic but I also had this issues and here is the fix. Look for deano's reply. It is an easy fix.
