Lots of Issues

Hello,

After tired to wait reply from Boonex, I‘ve sent dozens of PMs to other Dolphin team members and got no reply as well. So hope you can answer my questions....

1. When installed dolphin, my pass was 30 symbols long, all worked. Now when I wanted to change that via admin panel to a new one, it said:

Error saving new password: invalid password length (between 3 and 11 characters).

Why's that?

Wanted to use: E~!h5YW/aEUkLqD?6M.........

2. Another thing:

New Gallery Feature for Classifieds
New Gallery Feature for Profile Photos

What are those for?

3. When you are checking hot or not and if it shows your own photo, you can't vote and therefore - it stucks.

Issue while using Opera 9.5, d 6.1.4

1. Join form:

Issue is kinda weird, ENTER button doesn't proceed to a new line but the one before

3rd issue: If I select birthday date (doesn't matter ie or opera), and then trying to change year only, it will not allow to, I will have to click on any day to "confirm" year.

4. I am just wondering if that's how profile page with photo should look like?

Fresh install, wondering why it "doesn't center" profile photo picture (as well as default one).

For example: men profile is in right rather than left. Is this because of site size? Any way to fix this one soon ?

--------

5. I got a custom template and when viewing guestbook, design is messed up (all other pages are fine). Is there any specific line which could cause this?

As you can see from profile pictures, left one is original and right is how it should look like (in my opinion, so photos would be "centered")

Thanks a lot mrpowless, are there any instructions on how to enable self photos voting or anything like that so it won't stuck on hot or not when your own photo comes?

I normally don't write "point of order" posts- especially when I have nothing else to add, but I think you will have much better luck here if you write your issues up one or two at a time, rather that dumping a whole list on us.  Mrpowless is one of the few people here who can tackle a bunch of issues at ones, while I think most people see a big list like this and just wince.  I'm only mentioning it because I have been seeing a bunch of these "multiple problem" posts here, that most people ignor, and you said you have sent "dozens" of PMs, and I think it would probably be less work for you and everybody to take them on one at a time.

Well, first it was 1 issue, sent a pm to Dolphin programmer or just dev or whatever, got no reply, found another issue, sent again, then another, etc till it became a huge list and started to send "compelte" list of them in one PM. Thanks for your point though.

Agree with calrade 200%  .....

You ARE doing your homework by searching and researching these 'issues' BEFORE posting them right?

(NOTE-TO-SELF (and anyone else)  .....  Boonex needs to enable STICKY posts for forums)

I'm not picking on Dijixas, but this is just one of my pet peeves.  Another is vague post titles like "problems".  The idea behind these forums is that others should be able to benefit from the help you get, and that makes it really hard to do a search so people have to post the same thing over and over.   Another thing- if you solve the problem yourself come back and tell us how you did it - that way you might be helping others here with the same issue.  Still another is vague, ambigious and ungrammetical English.  We understand that English is not everyone's first language, but give it your best shot- it doesn't have to be perfect but this is not a cell phone (r u going 2 solve my probs?).   Several time I have seen some absolutely atrocious English here, and then I go to the profile and find the member is from the U.S. or Canada, or in one recent post even England.  OK, I am starting to rant.  I have more pet peeves but that is enough for now.
