Logo upload doesn't seem to work on admin panel?

Hi all,

Not sure if its just me or noe but when i try to upload my site logo through the admin panel i select the file, click on upload and all it does is loads for a minute and then just stays on a blank page and my new logo doesn't show (its still the standard one)  instead of simply being able to upload the image and then reloading back to the admin panel. Im using Dolphin 7.3.0

I did a fresh instal

hmm - maybe something did not upload properly - did you by chance use filezilla to upload files to your server. I have done a fresh install of 7.3 and so far have no issues.

i installed it with Softaculous, this is the second install i have done, on the first install it took a few atempts to upload a logo, and now on the second install it wont let me upload a logo at all through the admin panel.

Many times - I have see where the Softaculous does not work properly, and I would recommend manually uploading files to server yourself and then doing setup.

I have already made a few changes to the template now so i dont really want to do another fresh install only to loose all the changes i have made so is there another way i can change the website logo other than doing it through the normal way through the admin control panel?

If it is a file problem, then you can just download the 7.3 zip, unzip and upload the files using binary transfer to your server.

I have just got TMD (hosting) to do a fresh instal and delete the old instal and im still getting the same issue with not being able to upload/add a website logo through the admin panel, all it seems to do is when i select my logo then click 'upload' it just opens a blank web page and has http://mywebsite***/administration/basic_settings.php in the web title area.

Ok its all sorted now :) this is what i just recived from TMD >> It appears that the fileinfo extension was not properly enabled. We have enabled it and we were able to successfully upload a logo.

And now it works!! :)
