Two folders were missing from install. I had to add them and assign permissions.

I uploaded a test logo.

Please try now and remove what I uploaded.

You got more problems too because of your changing all the permissions to 755

By changing all the permissions to 755, no modules will install now.
I cannot compile the language files.

your changes to all the module storage folders for avatar, photos, and stuff the same way.. they wont work either..

I have to go through all the folders and change as I find errors.

for Dolphin to function under Apache, some folders have to be set at 777
you being Nginx user I don't think it matters for your server but on this Apache setup it does.

this is what I get trying to install modules..
Installation of: Forum Failed
-- Update languages:
-- -- Cannot recompile the following languages:
-- -- English

My apologies:  If you go here you can copy the command and then use "right click" in the shell to paste it so you don't have to type everything.

lol, that is not what you did..

[edit] and I know how to change the file permissions. I'm the one that pointed you to that page because you stated cache folder should not be 777, and your wrong as I pointed out to you earlier.

I've copied all your template work to a folder.

Tonight I shall re install D and put your template back.

I will set the permission to what they have to be as per our server setup..

really NM.. I have done that. You changed the language file to 755 making it not compile.

go to admin panel and try to install a module or re compile the languages.

all of this worked yesterday until you did the changes

One thing to point out, what ever you did, you changed almost every file folder to 755

as an example, I know what file to change to make the languages compile. /langs/lang-en.php it was set to 755 changing that one file back to 777 allows the languages to compile, therefore allowing the modules to install and the "re compile" their language  files to add to lang-en.php hence 777

OK, I know what happened now; I was not following this.  accidentally, it was set that files would get the same permissions as folders.  It can be fixed by running the commands to set the permissions for the folders and files at one go and then apply 777 to the folders that need that permission.

I have set permissions as outlined by Boonex.  Please check to see that all permissions are as they should be.

No need to reinstall, I fixed the permissions.  Once I understood what happened.  All is good to go, go to backend and check permissions using host tools.

I fixed, I broke and me fixed Smile
