This is the support forum for the Lodgings (Places to Stay) mod.

This module is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

Why doesn't the Lodgings mod have an Edit Categories page in Page Builder, even though individual lodgings link to category pages?

@TravelNotes - The module uses the default Categories system of Dolphin. Categories are managed by logging into your admin panel then go to Settings => Categories Settings and choose the module from the drop-down.

I know that, but it would be nice to edit the page (Browse Lodgings By Category) that is returned at the link above.

ie: make it two column and add HTML blocks around the Category View content.

 Playing around with the URLs, I discovered in lodging, it seems to work like this:

Nowhere, that was just me repeating the link structure you use on your other mods.

Any idea why my listing arn't working. The image i loaded wont show and i get a 505 error when i click on a listing. jasko.co.uk under stays   thanks

You need to apply the Facebook integration fix for Dolphin, found at https://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/FacebookLocales-xml.htm

Some layout issues have been fixed. Please re-upload the modules/modzzz/lodging/templates folder and clear cache.

Claim Listing

In actions block, Claim Lodging currently only shows up to members.

Ideally, non-members should be able to see this action and then be encouraged to become a member to claim the lodging (listing).

This also applies to your other modules (Business Listings, Restaurants, etc.)

Dolphin 7.4.2 version of this module has been uploaded.

I had a little scare when the dreaded Something went wrong appeared on the screen after trying to install this module on a clean Dolphin 7.4.2 site.

Rather than come here and cry right away, I took a deep breath; uploaded the files again and looked around the site a little.

I received a couple more slight scares. Cleared cache; closed all other connections to the server; made another cup of coffee; and tried again.

Success.

Moral of the story: All is not lost first time out. Databases are funny things and sometimes a connection or two might fail; often when trying to do something critical.

There seems to be a problem with 'embedding videos' in Lodgings.

Yes: Something Went Wrong.

I'm wondering if might be something to do with 'Video Title'; as there is no place for a video title entry in the database table?

Tried to look on your test site but you get a database error.

I also notice the 'Embed Videos' action is not on the View Lodging page but it is on the View Business Listings (one of your other mods) page.

Tried to add it through your Actions Mod but that doesn't help.

Method(actionEmbed) was not found in module(lodging)        

I'm wondering if you're still interested in working on your modules or are you throwing the towel in?

I give up.... and to think that you're trying to sell your modules that still don't work properly on another, how do you say, operating system.

Get real. Fix what you do have first.

To be honest, we've had nothing but problems with your mods from day one.

 This functionality was not added to Lodging module.

An update has been made to fix a Dolphin 7.4.2 incompatibility issue. The following file is modified.
