Hello everyone. I'm trying to get the livestreaming module working on dolphin7. I believe I've installed it correctly however I'm missing the ability to create chat rooms. I'm wondering if anyone has installed this module and has it working properly. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Here is my site:
http://www.krushkam.com/m/livestream
here is a link to a demo:

As you can see in the demo there are buttons to add, manage, or view chat rooms. On my site they are not present. Can anyone tell me why?
Thanks
Jared

Did you ask the module maker? ManOfTeal.COM a Proud UNA site, six years running strong! |
Ya I submitted a ticket with videowhisper a few days ago. No response so far. I just though maybe someone else had experience with this module and could help me. |
Cool, I actually have never seen this until now.. lol ManOfTeal.COM a Proud UNA site, six years running strong! |

Maybe, do you have an RMS setup?
First requirement in their list..
This requires a rtmp server (Red5 / Wowza / FMIS) in addition to Boonex Dolphin requirements.

Yes. I have a wowza license and my hoting service has confirmed that it is installed and working. However. I'm not sure how to check it myself. Do you know how? |
No, sorry.
I tried to do it with RMS, several problems with the module I downloaded.
It would be hard for any of us (members) without having an actual account like you do for testing.
I read all the instructions and they are not that easy to follow.

ya no kidding. Im having trouble with them too. The problem appears to be with the rtmp setup. I received a reply from video whisper with nO message. Just a link to trump setup. I'm having who hosting privider take a look at it since they helped me with the wowza set up. |
If your paying for the wowza service, does that include the server?

I do remember these modules from the market, it has horrible reviews because it says it's free when it in all actuality it is not.
The RMS server setup instructions are there, but files to upload to the web-app folder for RMS.
If you have more instructions, please re post.

I think you can pay for the server option. I purchased the software license then had my hosting provider install it on my dedicated server. At least that's how I ubderstand it to work. |
