License problem

Hello,

I'm having trouble getting a new license installed.  I had a free one in place and have purchased a 400 day license.  When I go to the admin area and put the new code in the Advanced Settings -> Variables tab it doesn't "stick."  When the page refreshes the old code is still there, even if I clear the cache.

Do I need to put this directly into the database or is there another way to get this set up.  I'd like to get the Boonex links removed now that I have this license.

Yes - then when the page refreshes I'm still seeing the same information.
