License does not work.

Hi,

i cant get my license work at all. I tried everything as described in other postings but the footer do not disappear.

Neither my license get licensed here at this website (still says unregistered)

I know how to remove it manually yes but this is not the way i like to proceed.

i can enter the license without a problem after deleting cache and license from advanced settings and logging in directly to adminpanel.

allow_url_fopen is on. Everthing else works like expected even RSS feed fetching from external domains.

I need some future ideas or assistence.

Where can i start to debug this stuff? Where is the part in the sourcecode where the request to the external server is triggered?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Mine was doing that too. It took me about 2 days of cleaning the cache for the license code to stick. Just keep clearing your cache.

i even deleted the cache manually from the HD a few times already. I doubt that this will fix the error. It would interesting to know how the license is beeing activated. Is this a curl call to an external url? Maybe that url is not reachable?

EDITED:

Ah well i found the url which is called.. ill debug this now.

Did you try this already?

Go into you admin panel, click Settings>Advanced Settings> Variables (i think - working off memory)

Delete the Dolphin License Key, click Save, and then log out completely.

Go to your site using this URL http://www.yoursite.com/administration (replace yoursite)

Login as the Administrator, it will prompt you for the license key, enter you License and click submit/save. This should remove your links immediately.

Yes i tried this already. Well i decoded the sourcode now and extracted the license activating url and license mechanism.

Ill contact the support about this issue. For now it works for me even if that is not the common way.

License checking code was changed in RC1, please make sure that you are trying with RC but not beta.
