License Question

Hi,

I am looking at Boonex Dolphin as a solution for several social networks. My question is, do I need to purchase a license for multiple networks if they all reside under the same domain. For example, if I own the domain example.com and I want to build a social network at site1.example.com and site2.example.com and so on do I need to buy multiple licenses or will Dolphin work fine?

Secondly, if I purchase the Prime license to own brand the mobile apps and offer them for download at example.com, are they domain specific so they will only work with sites located at the domain example.com or once you have purchased them they can be used for any boonex site as they are not domain specific? Thanks for your help.

Licenses are tied to a domain, so example.com will work, but subdomain.example.com won't (or vice-versa).

I don't know what BoonEx wants for limits with the mobile apps, but from what I've seen, it's the entire source code.  Besides, the app is designed to work with any Dolphin site, so it can't be tied to one domain (but there is a snippet of code for this).

For mobile apps, if you have a mobile license, it gets tied to the 'package' you uploaded to the market place (regardless of the domain).

So for example:

- You download the mobile app source code

- You brand it for your domain example.com

- You upload your branded mobile app to iTunes and Google Play markets

- Once approved by Apple and Android and it's available on the markets, you 'register' your mobile license by putting in the market URL to your application (iTunes URL and Google Play URL)
