Let the dead stay dead; stop reviving old posts

Lately this is becoming a habit on Boonex.  Look at an old post.  If you think it is relevant in some way to a problem you are having, create a new post and link to the old one if need be.  State your problem.  Old posts are about old code.  Unless you are running old Dolphin, let the dead stay dead.

Why? .... If the content is still relative, why not? Better than creating multiple threads on exactly the same subject. Take SPAM for instance....

If people would actually search the forum, we wouldn't have 28 gazillion posts on EXACTLY the same thing... eh!

Yes, I agree for some instances.  I revived an old post myself today but only because I was asking about code that was posted in that topic, it was a true continuation of the topic.  Often though, that is not the case.
