 Is this happening to others here? My language keys get messed up with every upgrade (yes, I recompile). See: http://calstartup.com/join.php I wouldn't mind if they were fixing the major issues, but if Boonex is going cherry pick minor issues and do an new RC every few weeks this is going to be a real pain. The upgrade always seem to take a few hours at least. Is there any way to fix this other than looking up each and every one. This happens all over the site. Rob |
I think this is has to do with the "custom" blocks/mods to the pages. Whenever you have to manually add a language key, I do not think those are taken into consideration during the upgrades. I dont know this for sure, but if the language file is getting re-written/over-ridden during the upgrades, then the only way I could see around this is to re-upload your backup copy of lang-en.php and recompile again. Add your custom languages to system category .. becuase if you add it to some other category .. and this category will match with some module language category .. then all changes will be lost upon module language reinstallation !
