Sadly, it's not just Facebook. It's a pretty common perception that a good website is all about clicks. Nobody talks about how long people stay on a page, once they land there, or whether or not the content offers any true value to visitors. Seems like it's all about getting people to visit your little website by any means necessary, and that quality of content doesn't really matter that much.
