Knowing what to backup

I'm very new to Dolphin, and noticed from MrPowless's videos that its good practice to backup before any changes.  I took a look at the drop-down list on the backup page, but am having difficulty working out what's what.  Is there a simple way to determine which one I need to choose to backup a particular thing.  For example, I'm currently editing the join page in the 'Fields Builder' part of the dashboard, but am not sure which item I'm supposed to choose on the backup section.

Cheers

With some of his tutorials he will show what to back up...exactly.

Before doing any database mods....backup the entire structure and database.

When modding files, just download them with your FTP client (Filezilla or CPanel) to your computer and save. That way if the code change screws up....you can upload your original.
