With all the hacktastic shenanigans going on these days I thought you guys might be interested in this site called - http://basicstate.com/
Basically its free to use, you list your site and you get an email update if your site goes down on you. Then you also get an email everyday telling you the average uptime of your site. Its useful for comparing hosts and stuff... see who scores the best. And also useful for keeping an eye on your site.
