Join Form Birthdate Field

I'm using version 7.2.

When I enter a birthdate in the join form, I get sent back to the home page.

The information on the join form is retained but it's quite the problem.

The join form seems to be treated as a pop up window rather than a web page.

I needed to use a 2 page join format because the 1 page version was just a pop up window on the index page.

The 2nd page opens join.php so that the calendar pop up is displaying on the proper page.
