Job Request, just need to know if its possible. Sms Conformation!

Hey, i might open up a job post for this but i want to know if anyone knows how to do it or is it possible. I want a comfirmation link and code be sent to the users phone as a sms instead of it being emailed to him/her. and He/she will read the code in the sms and input it in the website to comfirm that it's his/her phone. Is this possible?? Please help. Give me advise suggestions

I do know that esase has some sms mods in the market and oe of them allows paid membership via SMS...... The big problem though is the % that the carrier takes for each TXT. Be prepaired to loose upto 50% of the membership fee.

Lets just say i work for telecommunication company and they are able to send sms message to their customers etc.

Let's just say it's not possible without paying for SMS gateway service.  I don't know what sort of sms mods  are in the market, but I guarantee they don't work with an SMS gateway.
