Derantmedia: I posted my review of your module (http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Facebook_Ultimate_Module_All_in_One#3744) before you sent me the upgrade, but the upgrade didn't seem to change anything on my site except one avatar loaded correctly on my Facebook home page that didn't load before.... The events and groups still do not work correctly, which was always my main concern. The language keys do not work either, but I could write them myself if I had to.
I would give you a good review if your software and support was adequate. The new version didn't fix anything I am aware of or reported to you at http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/topic/Issues-with-Facebook-Ultimate-Module-derartmedia-.htm I completely uninstalled the old version and installed the new version when you told me to, only to notice no differences except the home page avatar loaded. The language keys are still messed up really bad, missing a lot of language keys completely including ones I told you were messed up before the upgrade like: _bx_facebook_advanced_block_fbevents, _bx_facebook_advanced_block_fbgroups, _bx_facebook_advanced_block_fbfriends, and more. Groups and events still do not import as they are supposed to.... They do not have the correct avatars, all imported groups and events have the wrong avatar, which was one of my main concern with trying to use the software on my live site. I just don't know exactly what you fixed with this version, but it wasn't the same things I had issues with.
I would have given you guys a good review if the product worked and I thought support was adequate... My review is not personal, it is because the software doesn't do what it is supposed to, and you didn't offer me any support. I felt as if I was abused by your company, you promised me one thing and didn't deliver on multiple fronts: The software doesn't work as advertised, and you didn't deliver support to people in the Boonex forums you said you would on your website. I always make sure companies offer adequate support before I buy their software, you said you would help people in the forums, but it was not true, and then you told me personally you mistakenly offered Boonex forum support on your site. After I realized the software and support were subpar I thought I must post a review warning people about mistakenly buying this software that doesn't work, and offers no support. I just think it it doesn't work on my site with 7.2 and the default template, what are the chances it will work on other sites, some much more customized than mine. If I hadn't posted a negative review of this software then you would just have a bunch more unhappy customers complaining to Boonex and posting bad reviews. If the software gets fixed I will post a review saying that it now works on my site.
