can you select "regular" on the drop down.

I'm no apple user, but I don't think that "flash" option works on apple

Thats my only set option to use regular, it does not work with apple. Even here in this forum post, im not able to attach anything because the" choose file" button is faded and not clickable

like i said before alot of people are now online via ipads so not being able to upload files is a negative

can you select "regular" on the drop down.

Everyone now has an ipad,

Wrong.  I don't.

I don't have a "i" anything.

Well, except a older iMac.

The "i" stands for Insanely Expensive. Which is why i do not own any.

The browse button is greyed out because you are locked out from browsing the file system with iOS.

IDK if that's going to get "fixed" in iOS 6 or not.  Guess we'll all find out on the 19th.

When I had my iPhone jail broken I did not have the limitation.

Of course if you've EVER worked with a Mac OS X user over the phone, I can certainly see WHY they don't allow it on the iOS devices!

Oh, I am too.

It's not an issue with the software (Dolpin).

It's the operating system of the iOS device.

As a user of the iOS device you are not allowed to browse the file structure.

I have no idea if they plan on "fixing" that or not.

Funny thing is, when I plug my i(device) into my ubuntu machine, I can browse the file system and see all the unix goodies in there.

I am also concerned about this issue!

The best way is to change the Flash to HTML 5, there would be no platform system compatible problem.

BTW Andriod new version does not support Flash, so this should be a problem common to many smart phones

Seems people are not understanding this issue.

This has nothing to do with flash.

This has nothing to do with dolphin.

It happens on ANY website. Not just dolphin.

It has everything to do with the operating system these devices use. (iOS)

It has everything to do with apples stupidity.

See this page for more info and possible solutions.

No! This issue is in the Flash!

You can try to remove or uninstall Adobe Flash Player from you PC, you will see this problem!

So, I have iOS 6 on my iPhone, and I now can click on a submit button for an image and iOS 6 offers me the option to upload an existing image, or take one with the camera.

That's an improvement.

If it's just my site that does this, it is completely by accident!

If you want to upload more than 100,000 photos, you will not want to use the standard way!

who have so many photos? view my web site please:

Flash uploader and Java uploader will NOT work on the iOS devices, it is NOT a coding flaw with dolphin, it is a choice APPLE has made with their devices.

Your only option at this point would be to jailbreak your device to allow flash to run.

WHO has 100,000 pictures on their iPAD???

I did a test yesterday from my iPhone and uploaded a picture, it was 1.7MB.

With that type of volume you are better off syncing them to an actual computer an uploading them from there anyway.

Or use Drop Box and share the folder inside drop box.
