Essentially, I am most interested in the discounted market products.
Is that including 3rd party as well? All products?
Is it a noticeable discount, or so small it's not worth the money?
Could premium members please weigh in your thoughts?
Thank you! :)

Value depends on the individual. If you'll be selling in the market, then premium membership is required. As noted, the default market discount is 10%, and this applies to all market products, unless the vendor has set a higher discount. The most I've seen set is 15%.
Personal opinion: Unless you're a developer wanting to sell stuff or really keen to edit Trac, I don't feel it's worth it at the current price. You could save on the discounts, but only if you buy a lot of stuff in the market. The only other real perk is that premium members usually have early alpha/beta access to new releases. Besides those, the only other reason to buy it would be to support BoonEx, but a license purchase would be a better investment.

I don't believe it is worth it either. I have it as required to sell in the market. But if your not doing that, you will need to buy a lot of modules before the 10% discount makes up for the cost of the membership. https://www.deanbassett.com |
Thank you, guys. Great information to have. I'd rather spend that $99 supporting the mod developer by 'buying' from them, rather than taking 10 percent from their pocket. |
Put it this way: You'd have to buy $1000 in market products to recover the investment. I'm pretty sure I've done that, but it took 4 years or more.
I find the concept a little strange. You pay Boonex $99 and as a result, vendors have to give you a discount in perpetuity? My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |

I agree, strange.

Vendors only pay once to be able sell, without commission. discount is, in a proxy way, a commission that Vendors "pay" to Boonex, by offering a discount. We believe it's a win-win, because premium members tend to order more often anyway and are entitled for a discount, and generally compensate for it by making more purchases from Vendors.
