Is the Boonex site safe?

I have always used the latest and greatest firewall and anti-virus solutions.  I am now running VIPRE from Sunbelt Software.  Great program.  Here comes the strange part.  VIPRE has tagged Boonex.com as being malicious.  Attached is a jpeg of the error screen, warning users not to go on Boonex.com.  I had to add an exception to be able to visit it.  Why?  What is going on that we do not know about?

It seems they need to update their database. BoonEx's site was broken into a while back and malicious code was added. Everything's safe now and all the major antivirus providers have updated their database to reflect this.

Sounds good.  But a few days ago I had no problems.  They just recently added it.  Like within the past few days.  Just wondering if something else is going on to catch their eye.  Could be that Boonex has no idea that something is wrong.
