Is Rocket Chat worth setting up?

Does Rocket Chat require members of my site to have to set up a separate account to use the chat rooms????

Or does it integrate with the dolphin database and use the current members of my site?

When you set it up properly using Oauth2 it pulls the information from the dolphin site and uses it accordingly

Thanks Neotekcorp. When I tried to check out your site it doesn't appear and comes up with a warning.

This may sound like a stupid question but I can't really find any clear instructions on how to set up Rocket Chat. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Sorry, our security certificate expired yesterday . It's back up and running.

I think smartest way to use rocket chat at least initially is the free beta cloud they offer. It is set up instantly so you don't need to know anything about configuration or deploying on a server. It's free for as long as they remain in beta as well and the guys at rocket.chat are extremely responsive and work hard to solve any challenges.

try our site again now that the https certificate was updated and then go to https://rocket.chat/deploy to set up a free rocket chat server to test.
