Is Dolphin "invite friend" system SPOOF Proof?

Can the current dolphin invite be easily cracked or spoofed with bots or are there security mechanisms that make it difficult?

Hmmm. unknown. I have been here almost 5 years and have not yet heard of any.

I tried to find some of the old threads about spoofing the invite system but couldn't. According to several of the people who tried to use it it's very "spoofable". The link that is sent out is a URL that has the members ID number that sent it.. and when the link is clicked a cookie is set. So in other words if you know the simple URL you can stick any active members ID on the end of it and the invite system will let you in. I'm sure on most sites if you started with ID #1 and went up it wouldn't take long to figure out an active members number.
