Is Dolhpin suitable for this purpose?

Hey,

First of all I would like to say that Dolhpin really looks like a promising tool. Now I wonder if it would be the right tool for me to use. I hope that you guys and girls can help me out.

What I would like to achieve:

  • A user (called SuperUser from now on) can sign up to create his own small community; for example www.domain.com/communityname
  • That SuperUser can invite different other users (by use of an email address). So it would be invite-only
  • The price that the SuperUser should pay for his community depends on the amount of users he invites.
I tried to describe it as clearly as possible. If you need more information to provide an answer, I would be more than happy to answer.

Thanks in advance for the support and input!

You will probably find that in dolphin most things are possible. It depends on the depth of your pocket.

i think for you it depends on exactly what you want these smaller communities to contain. if they are just to be groups with advanced features then this is possible. I have seen somewhere a system that allows for sub domains, but i am unsute if and how this works. if your pockets are dep enough and if you have the patience i am sure someone could probably code exactly what you want.

Hope it helps,

Nathan
