Invitefriend.php 404

I want to set my site up for invitation only, but when i test this, and click on the invite friend link, i just get a transparent overlay on the screen.

no popup or anything, i have all blockers disabled for the site.

I read another post awhile back, i cannot find, something in regards to checking if file exists, check template files are there etc. The files are all there and in tact.  Could this be due to mod_security?

The file is there on the server? If so, make sure the permissions on the file are set to 644. If it's sill not working, check the error_log file.

turned out to be the host i was with would not allow mod_security. I since changed providers and its working now.
