Install permissions problem

on mac os x 10.4.10

when setting permissions

when the cron.inc.php permissions have been set to 666

then the checking form can't find the file,

so install is stuck..

any reason?

any workaround?

just trying to test this software.

not sure what you are asking about here. you have a webserver on your mac? i would opt to try to load up a third party server application, but i havent heard of many who were sucessful with setting up on a local server. dolphin requires a different configuration than most open source scripts.

the software is excellent once you get it loaded to a server that can run it. not all servers are configured to run this script. so you need to read the server requirements prior to selecting a hosting provider.
