Incorrect Blog template on first blog visit

Seems new users get taken to the wrong 'add blog' page.  I have read in the forum that this is a common bug.  I have been unable to find anything in here about a fix for this problem.

Any suggestions ?

I have a suggestion.  Describe the problem exactly, and in more detail.

Ok I just set up a test user and was able to replicate the problem.

I have attached a screenshot of the page I get when I first try to add a new blog.

If I put in some text and hit submit it will then either given an error message or it will take me to the proper add blog page.

i just does this once.  If I try to add a blog a second time, it will go to the correct page.

Also, is there any way to sticky a blog or feature it ?

That's not an error.  It's just the way it has always worked.   Boonex thinks you should give your blog a name, which is different than a blog post title,  Your 'Blog' being the sum of all blog posts.  I've always thought the 'create blog" step was useless.  No one has ever complained because the first step is over quickly, and you never have to deal with it again.

For some reason one user is getting an error message when he put info in there.

Perhaps if the page said 'name your blog' and if the box was a lot smaller, then people would not be as confused.

thanks for looking at this for me.

Did you know if there was a way to sticky a blog ?
