Inactive members for no reason

Why are some members accounts dropping to a suspended mode with d5? I had an issue with d4 also.

Is this happening with anyone else or do you think that my members are accidently suspending their accounts?

I think you are one of the few (brave or foolish - take your pick) people to try this for a live site, so you likely will encounter these weird problems before anyone else.

I understand php and mysql fairly well and have the ability to run mirror sites to perform upgrades between betas. Not everyone can do this.

Not only that, but rumor has it that there will be no upgrade option from 6 to 7. I have no time to waste as some people are waiting for a final release when it could be months or perhaps up to a year still.

Why wait for a final release with no upgrade option? I have no problem doing what I am. Just come here for faster answers to where bugs can be found.

Have you looked at trac yet? You do know that all fixes are documented to the T one changeset at a time. It's pretty easy to folllow if you understand it.
