Inaccessible empty topics - forum bug?

I noticed that if I create a new topic, then delete my post (the only post in the topic), the post is removed but the topic remains and there's no way to delete it.  If you try to access the topic you get the standard access denied error message:

Access denied. You must have special permissions to access this area or you are not logged in.

I'm new to Dolphn and searched for this "issue" in the forums but couldn't find anything regarding it... It's possible it's just user error on my part since I haven't used it that long.

Yeah...you get these when the forum postings do not match up

You may have to manually remove the topic from the DB via phpmyadmin or as admin

table bx_forum_topic

Shouldn't this bug get logged by Boonex so that it gets fixed?  The Forum Admin mode let's you delete forums and posts, but not topics.  If there was be a delete icon next to each topic in the the topics listing then this wouldn't even be an issue.

I am having this exact same error and have been since I install D6 a few months ago. This is a major annoyance and is why I waited for D7 to come out.

I have removed tables before from sql with Dolphin and lets just say I would rather not do this. Is there another solution?
