In 7.2 RC - youtube upload error

When I try to embed a youtube video i get the message "video upload fail". Any idea? I already tried several different videos from youtube and none work. In my host checkup everything is ok an on.

Help me please.

Similar problem here.. all is setup correctly with cron aswell. I gave up in the end.

Good to know someone else facing it too, because I spent the whole day trying to figure out what the problem was, and i did not find any recent post in this forum with the same issue. 

I managed to fix this problem.

The problem I had was in my DNS it wasn't setup properly on my plesk panel and the only other thing I changed was in admin from (FILE cache to APC) within 7 hours for the DNS to set properly. It is all working my end now no problems at all.

I wasn't getting a error uploading it just didn't do anything after clicking on the links. But both photo and video section working perfect for me now.

Try making sure your DNS settings are correct and set on both your control panel and registrar (example: ns1.yourdomain.com / ns2.yourdomain.com ) and set the cache in admin to APC or XCACHE which ever you use.

I appreciate the tips. But my DNS and cache are all good and the problem persists. 

my 7.2 site works great except video uploads fail, embed & photos work great.

i tried changing the cache from file to apc but no luck.

any other ideas I could try ?

are your uploads failing on regular and html5?

 Are you getting emails from the cron job?

 I answered my own question.

In your site audit page, under the cronjobs window.

Try to set the email please.

I can not embed youtube ( https) videos and/or dailymotion(http) videos as well

sorry if this is a double posting since i did it in another one but it was about dolphin 7.0 version

problem was solved by the my hosting's excellent helpdesk :
"set the ffmpeg binary file which is shipped with your Dolphin application to be executable"
