We need to be able to tie a user to their IP for a whole host of reasons. I request that the user's IP tracked when they join and shown in the Admin>Members area for each user. This is very important to help control members and for various legal reasons. An IP type track is already enabled in the system tables, we just need to tie that into user names.
Also IP tracking for when a photo/video/file/sound is uploaded would be extremely useful. Being able to tie those items to an IP in case something illegal is placed is very helpful as site owners (and law enforcement if very illegal).

I agree that it would be nice to tie the IP to the actual member name. In the IP blacklist system, which doesnt really seem to work at the moment, there is a "Stored Logged Members IPs" but it doesnt say from "what" member.

Also when we get spammers it's good to know their IP to prevent them from rejoining over and over, or at least restricting their IP range when joining. |

Yes, this is very god idea. I post it when the RC is out, send mail to the boonex team, ask a question... nothing happened till now. Hope they read this post. Tie IP with user is most important first of all for leagal reason i think. I have script on my site for tracking member. From time to time i go to my account and compare the results from admin part, specialy is frustrated since my server is in America and i am from Eastern Europe... i have to +9 hours just to see.
