On April 17 2017, all free embed.ly accounts will be terminated. This may mean embed.ly functionality will prevent any embeds on your site of all content, links, media and files.
There is a new gig in town. One competitor started using it as recent as April 12 2017.
It's called Iframely.
It has exactly the same features as embed.ly, and unlike oohEmbed, is not owned by embed.ly in any way. It is a completely new project, and it is free. You won't need to pay $99.00 a month for an API if you use it.
It offers better customization and I figured it would be a really good addition to dolphin sites. As either a direct replacement of embed.ly, or as a new iframely integration to use along side embed.ly if you wanted to use it.
