IE 9 issue

Hello Everybody

We have just seen that there is a big bug with the javascript-jQuery items in Dolphin with IE 9, such as the top menu, the lightoboxes and many other items.

I think a ticket should be opened if this has not been done already.

Try to use IE 9 and go to a Dolphin site, try to click on the "login" button on the promo, or try to use the more menu item.

We are experiencing this issue with many customers on the UNI template and also on Custom Templates.

I think something is missing.

LEt me know if you have experienced the same issue.

 I do not think the Final IE9 has been released yet, but this has been discussed here;

I am just reporting what the customers has reported to me. I am not doing anything else than this.

Thanks anyway.

The problem is now with IE8!

UNI template does not work anymore properly there is no question of third-party modules or templates installed!
With the script behaves like the old IE7.

To see the problem with IE8, you must updated your Windows!

IE 9 has been released and still has issues with being displayed properly, has anyone worked out a way to fix these please, because nothing displays correctly and everything is out of alignment

 the way your site is looking is end-user attributed. can see much for the size of the image, but would bet it really has nothing to do with IE. looks like you are trying to run a 3-column layout, on a two column template?

though older, a site that i still consider to be clean is http://standagainstbullying.org

So basically you're saying the the latest version cant handle a 3 column?

I've found that some blocks, as coded by mod developers, are not designed to fit in relatively narrow columns.  When you shift to 3 columns, which I've done, some blocks need to have their CSS revised... and in some cases the HTML code needs to be updated to rearrange the bits to information so they have their own space within the smaller area.  I think it's unrealistic to expect module developers to code for a wide range of possible column widths.
