I'm Needing Help in Stopping Spam & not the kind you eat!

Hi,

I am up to my neck with these spammers or whatever you want to call them. I can think of a few words, but I won't say it here.

They are really getting on my nerves! If I didn't get rid of them I would have more members then Facebook.

I keep black listing their IP's but they still keep coming!

Does anyone know of a for sure way to stop them in their tracks? May be I should put out a hit on them?

I have a few Italian friends that may like the job

Anyway, I would love to know a good way in stopping them. Any suggestions?

I like the join form idea.

I think I may have did it correctly by following your picture that was posted.

How would I know if it is working?

I use the 5+5

try to fill out the join form, answer the question incorrectly..

Just the bots. It adds something that must be answered by a person. You need to make sure it was done correctly. If 5+5 is answered incorrectly the join should not take place.

what helped me

was that i require to upload photo now when some join and splash pages use to help also.

I dont get any spammers anymore :D

So how did you do that themusicvibe?

I am trying to stop live spam also. In the join form I added "What is the longest river in the U.S.?"

but I can't seem to get it to work correctly. I know that I must be missing a step or two here.

Any help will do?
