I know I'm not crazy but where are the messengers?

It seems as if I have been searching for these messengers ever since I started using Dolphin. The only obvious chat system I can find is the chat room. Can anyone tell me where the heck do I find the simple messnger and IM feature. Some one told me to look in actions but I didn't find anything there. What am I doing wrong here. Am I overlooking this feature or something. If I am then I really need to slow it down a bit.

And for some odd reason I'm feeling as if I'm over looking because it doesn't seem to be a major complaint from anyone else but me. WHERE ARE THE MESSENGERS!!!!!!!!

You can install both messengers from the modules page under administration, tools, modules.

Ummm, I did that when I installed all the other modules that I'm using. I always install these modules and I still can't seemt  to find them. I nstalled both of them only because I couldn't find neither one of them.

The only way to access the simple messenger is by entering a message into the text box that appears on a member's profile page, as well as on their avatar menu. To access the messenger, this can be done by clicking the links for video communication on the profile, as well as through conversations in the simple messenger.

Funny, funny, funny! So I go and look around in the areas you told me to look in. Didn't see anything but my common sense broke in and I decided to log in on a different browser to see if that had anything to do with it. And THERE IT WAS,smack dab in my face So I realized that it isn't visable unless the person is online and there is more than one member.WONDERFUL

I no I 'am not crazy and know enoch from Dolphin, but I don't get the chat area in a online member in the action menu. 
I use in this case version 7.0.1  

Yes both meesengers are installed more times, all caches are cleared.
So if someone has a idea why this is happen let me know.

dam't  I 'am going to be old.... it was not set for that membership. :(
