Check to see if you uploaded the supplied .htaccess to the root folder of your dolphin install.

If its there you may need to re compile apache with mod_rewrite.  if this is not possible turn off permalinks in admin.

/administration/advanced_settings.php   bottom of the list.  un-check all the boxes there.

I had the same issue when the .htaccess file was not in the root. I moved the file from a subfolder after using the root access of the server to download and unpack. I still had the same issue happening.

I downloaded the Dolphin 7.1 and unpacked it on my computer. Uploaded with FTP and it resolved the issue.

Reason is the .htaccess files that are in most of the sub folders are different. They are not the same as the one that belongs in the root of the site.

If you don't have that file, it is in the dolphin zip file.

The mistake most people make is .htaccess is normally a hidden file. It does not show up unless your OS is set to show all files, so the one for the root of the file is quite often missed because it is not visible, thus does not get selected for upload.
